The Independente Collective is a creative hospitality group that offers several accommodation units in Lisbon and Porto. Its operation includes The Independente Hostel, The Independente Suites e The Indy House em Lisboa, The House of Sandeman Hostel & Suites in Vila Nova de Gaia, this one being the first branded Hostel in the world as part of an innovative project in partnership with Sogrape and the Sandeman brand.

These accommodations are unique and immerse you into the environment where you experience strong connection to the local communities. The capacity to differentiate of each of The Independente Collective units and its innovative matrix have been recognized this year and nominated for The Best Tourism Brand by Marketeer Awards.

The group began operating with Newhotel in its first project (The Independente Hostel) and has grown steadily with the support of this partnership.
